Shri ShivDigvijay – श्रीशिवदिग्विजय

Shri ShivDigvijay is a biography of Shivaji Maharaj. The text is an anonymous work, but the editors of the bakhar P. R. Nandurbarkar and L. K. Dandekar who edited it in 1895 attributed its authorship to Khando Ballal, the son of Balaji Avji Chitnis. Historians such as Jadunath Sarkar and Surendra Nath Sen reject this attribution, and consider the text to be of a modern period. Astronomer S. B. Dixit dated the text to 1818. श्रीशिवदिग्विजय हे शिवाजी महाराजांचे चरित्र आहे. या बखरीचे लेखक माहिती नाहीत. या बखरीचे पी. आर. नंदुरबारकर आणि एल. के. दांडेकर यांनी 1895 मध्ये संपादन केले होते, त्यांनी या बखरीचे लेखक म्हणून बाळाजी आवजी चिटणीस यांचे पुत्र खंडो बल्लाळ होते असे सांगितले आहे. जदुनाथ सरकार आणि सुरेंद्र नाथ सेन यांसारखे इतिहासकार मात्र हे म्हणणे नाकारतात आणि ही बखर उत्तरकाळातील आहे असे म्हणतात. खगोलशास्त्रज्ञ एस.बी. दीक्षित यांनी या बखरीतील मजकूर १८१८च्या सुमारासचा आहे असे म्हणतात. अधिक माहितीसाठी येथे उपलब्ध आहे.
