Adnyapatra-AR – आज्ञापत्र-AR

Adnyapatra means a Royal Edict written by Ramchandrapant Amatya, a contemporary of Shivaji Maharaj, is considered as an authentic work on the Maratha polity of Shivaji Mahraj times. D.V. Potdar, a reputed Maratha scholar describes it as a unique piece of historical literature of medieval times. According to the scholars, Adnyapatra is a major authentic source book for the study of Maratha polity under Shivaji and medieval Marathi language. One of the unique features of the present Adnyapatra-AR book of professor A.R.Kulkarni, is that it gives the accepted original manuscript of Adnyapatra in Modi Script, its Marathi transliteration line by line and its English translation done long back by a well-known political scientist, professor S.V.Puntambekar.
