Puratatva Vidya – पुरातत्व विद्या

Puratatva Vidya refers to archeology. The basic facts of archeology, meaning and the historic fact file of archeology all over the world. The book consists of origin of archeology in India and its further progress. Various findings and the research repots along with the method used in archeological surveys is given in detail. Proper recording and the full procedure of the research is mentioned where various methods are included, determination of the period of any sample or ancient object found is mentioned. Points noted during a particular excavation is also described. Other findings and the cleaning and conservation of the samples found during the excavation are also discussed in the book giving illustrative photographs written by S. B. Deo.
