Pawankhind – पावनखिंड

The incidents based on life of Bajiprabhu Deshpande in this Pawankhind book are described by the author Ranjit Desai in very lively way. Bajiprabhu and his brother Fulaji Deshpande were known of the close association of Shivaji Maharaj. They had such a devotion that they both fought until Shivaji Maharaj reached safely to Vishalgad. Taking over the injuries from the enemy, Bajiprabhu sacrificed his life at Ghodkhind on the way from Panhalgad to Vishalgad.
