Itihasprasiddha Purushanche va Striyanche Powade book has three sections on Powadas of historical men and women, the first section contains Powadas based on Maratha Chhatrapati king. In the second part there are powadas based on the Peshwa family, in this there are powadas based on the Peshwas, Battle of Panipat, Sawai Madhavrao, Battle of Khardya, Last Bajirao Peshwa, Battle of Khadki and Ashti while in the third part there are powadas based on the Maratha chieftains during the Peshwa period.
