Adi Parva – आदिपर्व

Adi Parva is a historical novel written by Dr. Pramila Jarag based on life of Malojiraje Bhosle, a warrior, administrator and statesman at his time and Grandfather of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The novel depicts social and political scenario of Deccan India during end of 16th century and beginning of 17th century, spread over period of 18 years during which Malojiraje ascended from a soldier to chief of Army.
