Musalmani Mulukhantali Mushafari – मुसलमानी मुलखांतली मुशाफरी

Author Shripad Ramchandra Tikekar (1901-1979) spent five to six months between December 1928 and July 1929 as a traveling representative of Pune’s Kesari newspaper, traveling to Muslim countries such as Peshawar, Quetta, Basra and Baghdad in Iraq, and Abadan and Tehran in Iran. This is probably the first Marathi book of its kind on Muslim lands. Musalmani Mulukhantali Mushafari is not just a travelogue but a historical and social document.
