Warli-KS – वारली – सावे

This book is about the Warli tribe found in Thane region as converted from the research paper submitted by author Khanderao Sawe in Mumbai University.
The social, economical and educational conditions of Warli tribe are described. Initially, the book consists of history of warli tribes, their dress, housing, religion, worship of deities. subsequently, detailed information about the marriages in warli tribes is given like the marriage rituals, program, procession and divorce, along with the traditional songs and fables with their meanings. The last two chapters covers the economic condition of warli tribe, source of income, debt fullness.
