Description

In this book an attempt is made to review the ancient past of Maharashtra right from pre-historic times to Yadava Period and its bearing on political and cultural life. This book is an English version of original Marathi Gazetteer Itihas Prachin Kala. This book is divided into three parts, viz. Pre-Historic Maharashtra, Political History and Cultural History. Besides these chapter, a small write-up by Dr. Suraj Pandit on the Traikutaka Dynasty is added.
