The author of this book is Dr. Arvind Raddy retired as Principal Chief Conservator of Forests of Maharashtra State in 1995. Apli Vansampada is the Marathi translation of the book Indian Forestry, A naturalists perspective for the common citizen written by him in English. This book is written to inform people about the identity, productivity, challenges of forest sector in India.
