    This book is a compilation of various experiences by author while carrying out research on the beaches in Konkan. The beauty of the beaches from the roaring and breaking waves on the shore and the various formations of earth, rock and soil due to the waves is also taken into account of research.     The book is an unusual thought placed by the author to consider the sea and seashore in a different way. Various aspects like beaches, soil, rocks, seashore, ocean, cave structure, cracks etc. are considered and are scientifically studied and put forth in front of us. This research is unending but author has conducted it in Konkan region and has narrated certain examples to support the statements.
