The book Saha Sansthanancha Itihas provides a detailed account of six princely states in Maharashtra: Sangli, Ichalkaranji, Akkalkot, Mudhol, Bhor and Kurundwad. The author Pandurang Mathekar personally visited these states and has documented comprehensive information regarding their origins—including how, when, and by whom they were established—as well as details on their financial management, inter-state relations, and matters concerning debt.
